Marrakech’s medina had been calling for years, and getting there legally started with a single online step rather than an embassy appointment. Eligible travelers apply for the Morocco eVisa before boarding, choosing between tourist or business categories depending on purpose, each permitting a single entry lasting up to thirty days within a six-month validity window.

Two documents formed the core requirement: a passport bio page scan and a recent digital photo, with select nationalities needing to add a residence permit or multiple-entry visa on top. Submitting online, paying securely by card, then waiting a handful of working days for approval made the whole process feel far simpler than older visa routines. Once confirmed by email, printing the eVisa alongside a digital backup rounded things off, ready to present at the border together with proof of return travel and sufficient funds.
